Charity begins at home. Even if something seems great, it isn't always. Too often, the trend in our society keeps people to be cut-off from the great mass of humanity, and in doing so, it makes them to get de-humanized a little bit more with each step.
Cars have taken us off the streets, where we used to greet each other and stop to chat.
Cubicles have taken away a bit of the humanity in working, as have factories and even computers to some extent.
Television has planted us firmly in our living rooms, instead of being out with other people. Even movie theaters, where many people get together, cut us off from true conversation because we’re firmly fixed to the couch staring at the idiot Box.
We're not railing against any of these inventions, but, what we must guard against is the tendency of that individuality to have us focused on ourselves to the exclusion of our fellow human beings.
The tendency towards selfishness rather than giving, on helping ourselves rather than helping our brothers and sisters in humanity.
So strike back against the selfishness and greed of our modern world, and help out a fellow human being today. Not tomorrow, but ‘Today.’
The inspiration for THE JADE FOUNDATION is derived from MR JOHN AMALA DAS AND EMILY DAS the patrons of the Trust, so also the proud parents of the Managing Trustee.
THE JADE FOUNDATION
If we look at this disintegrating and sinking world today; our heart misses a beat. All that most of us do is to just watch and keep our fingers crossed. We can look anywhere in the world, from our front door step to across the oceans, and see so much that is wrong, so much that needs to change, and so many people who live in disharmony.
There are bright spots out there too, many in fact, and we see them and think “I wish there were people around here who would do good things like that!”I believe there are people like that everywhere, and all they need is to see someone actually doing good things, then they will happily imitate those actions.
If you see work that needs to be done, and love that needs to be shown, I encourage you to be that person who takes the first step. Lead the way. There are people with surplus, who either do not have an inclination to do charity or they have no time to do so.
Charitable Organisations play a role by bridging this gap. THE JADE FOUNDATION is one such mission. It is no one-man-show but a combination of good souls like you and me. Read More

THOUGHT
EMMANUEL JADE
" All Those Who Wander Are Not Lost. Some find their destination, but many fail to make it. Since ancient days social-minded people have existed and have lent a helping hand to such people. There are many people in the world today who need food, love, care and concern. There are equal number of people who are willing to assist. We call upon such people to join us to make a better world.
