THE JADE FOUNDATION

If we look at this disintegrating and sinking world today; our heart misses a beat. All that most of us do is to just watch and keep our fingers crossed. We can look anywhere in the world, from our front door step to across the oceans, and see so much that is wrong, so much that needs to change, and so many people who live in disharmony.

There are bright spots out there too, many in fact, and we see them and think “I wish there were people around here who would do good things like that!”I believe there are people like that everywhere, and all they need is to see someone actually doing good things, then they will happily imitate those actions.

If you see work that needs to be done, and love that needs to be shown, I encourage you to be that person who takes the first step. Lead the way. There are people with surplus, who either do not have an inclination to do charity or they have no time to do so.

Charitable Organisations play a role by bridging this gap. THE JADE FOUNDATION is one such mission. It is no one-man-show but a combination of good souls like you and me.

Category 1
You may have the penchant for charity but may not have the money, we welcome you into our fold.

You may also have the money to spare but may not have the time, do not worry we have the first category of people to execute our projects.

Category 3
You may be the one who does not have the resources, but you can consider joining us, it does not matter what creed, caste, gender or religion you belong to, if you belong to the religion of humanity, then this is the place for you. God creates man with excesses, God gave man a mind (spirit), so that he could know God.

God gave man a heart (emotions), so that he could love God. God gave man a will (freedom of choice), so that he could obey God. Either He gives too much to a person or he denies even the basic requirement for a person. It is our desire to do our mite in this world before we pass away. After all, what do we lose by helping the needy and the underpriviliged? We in fact gain peace of mind and also win hearts, and, that being our sole aim.

In summing up – all those who wander are not lost, some find places like THE JADE FOUNDATION to help, others lose their way into the wilderness. We would trace such people and do what they deserve with devotion, duty and dedication and that is our solemn vow.

MISSION & VISION

MISSION
Our sole Mission would be use our talent and knowledge and then identify rural areas where training is absent and empower the teachers and students who can ill-afford self-development training Programme. We will custom design modules that will be required for them and deliver on a time-bound basis.

Our mission is based on several aspects. It communicates our trust's core ideology and visionary goals.

--> To detect and respond to senior citizens's abuse and provide a primary care and residence to the Elderly.
--> A aesthetically pleasing home for young starving children
--> An opportunity to provide good quality education to the illiterate.
--> A boon for youth to get the latest technical skills to make them enlightened.
--> Social awareness at schools where the future architects will get to know facts to stand on their own feet.
--> A discourse for women to earn and learn at the same time.
--> Cognitive treatment from our counsellors to help people under depression.
--> A clean and Green India to plug into a very safe and hygienic environment for the future.

Ultimately it is our aim to see an educated, healthy and positive society that will result in a strong, powerful and peace-loving nation.

VISION
Training, especially the rural masses is the need of the hour. We will take this project on a priority basis wherein our team will be equipped first and then sent to deliver. We do not believe in cursing the darkness, but rather believe in lighting a candle. We shall strive to empower the rural teachers and students them with the required life skills. Where the teaching communities are concerned, we shall gear them to deliver to their best to the students and where the students are concerned, we shall empower them so that they will be an asset to society so also help themselves and be self-sufficient.

RURAL TEACHER TRAINING PROJECT

Location – The Nilgiris (Ooty, Conoor, Kotagiri and surrounding areas)
Commencement of the Project – October 2010.
Project Office – JADE ESTATES, Kotagiri.
Project Director – Emmanuel Anthony Das.
Project Co-ordinator – T S Sureskumar.
Total Cost of the Project – Rs.19,47,500 (Rupees Nineteen lakhs Forty Seven Thousand Five hundred Only)
Land – 110 Cents already acquired by THE JADE FOUNDATION.

1. Building – Project office:

The Project Office can have the name of the Donor(s) on completion. Payment in part is also welcome. We also welcome the donation of materials for the construction.
Building Cost – 800 Sq Feet office @ 625 Rs per sq feet is Rs.500000.00 (Five lakhs only)
The Building will include two guest rooms to house Volunteers and Trainers.
Total Cost Rs.5,00000.00

2. Maintenance Cost for one year:

Telephone – Rs.1000 per month.
Electricity – Rs.1000 per month.
Water – Rs.1000 per month.
Servant – Rs.2000 per month.
Internet – Rs.1000 per month.
Misc – Rs.1000 per month.
Fuel Expenses – Rs.10,000 per month.
Rs.17000 per month X 12 = 20,4000.
Total Rs.2,04,000.00 (Two Lakhs & Four Thousand only)

3. Staff:

Employees (two) Rs.5000 and 3000 respectively per month.
Rs.8000 X 12 = 96,000 (Rupees Ninety Six Thousand only)
Total Rs.96,000.00

4. Volunteers:

Volunteers expense @ Rs 500 (including food, accommodation, travel etc) per day.
Rs.500 X 5 = 2500 per day.
Rs.2500 X 100 days of training = 2,50,000 (Rupees Two Lakh Fifty thousand only)
Total Rs.2,50,000.00

5. Office:

These item(s) can either be donated or you can even afford the cost of item(s). We also welcome part payments for any of the items mentioned.

1. Computer – Rs.30,000.00
2. Printer – Rs.7500.00
3. Furniture – Rs.20,000.00
4. LCD Projectors – Rs.80,000.00
5. Stationery items & Materials – Rs.10,000
6. Electrical and sanitary Fittings – Rs.20,000
7. Guest Rooms Furniture – Rs.20,000

Total Rs.1,87,500

6. Vehicle

Vehicle – Rs.7,00000.00 (the donating persons can have either their company or personal names written on the Project Vehicle).To begin with, we also welcome a used vehicle.

Total Cost- Rs.7,00000

7. Course Content & Materials

Materials include Workbook, Completion Certificate etc.

Total Cost-Rs.30,000 per year.

As every Trust, we too depend on Donations from Patrons and Generous Donors. You can decide to either help our ventures directly or you may even consider recommending our Projects to persons whom you know may want to donate.

We also vouch that Donations received will be utilised keeping in mind all aspects of using funds that are given free. We have a genuine head, a dedicated team and also vital projects to bring about peace and joy in the nation and the world in general.

Given below is the Cost for the Project which we have already started implementing. Do help us formalise the Project, so that the venture takes off in a fast and efficient manner.

Please Note – Donations exceeding 1 Lakh (in cash or kind) will be reciprocated by JADE.

All Items will be acknowledged and a Report will be sent to Donors.

To make things legal, authentic and safe, we request that you pay only by Cheque or Demand Draft favouring THE JADE FOUNDATION so that there is no area of doubt whatsoever and also to ensure that funds are utilised efficiently.
